Why does our rollup need a ZK engine? What happens without one?+

Without a ZK engine, your rollup relies on trusted operators to execute transactions correctly. If an operator is malicious or compromised, there's no mathematical proof that transactions were processed honestly. Lambda VM generates cryptographic proofs for every batch of transactions — so your chain's security is based on math, not trust. This is the difference between 'we trust the sequencer' and 'it's cryptographically impossible to cheat.'

What does 'post-quantum secure' mean for us practically?+
